Gentlemen, I am looking at buying a 3 point quick hitch for my JD4400. I spent 20 min hooking up my bush hog this weekend and another 15 getting it off, and yet another 10 putting on the rake. My question. Does the quick hitch work well and save time and frustration. TSC has one for $200.00. If it works well its worth the money to me. Especially considering I got $150.00 in gift certificates to TSC for Christmas. Thanks for any advice.
Randy

Quick hitch at TSC works well. I took mine off my Kubota 3650 before I sold it. The only problem with a category 1 quick hitch is that isn't much consistency for pin spacing like cat. 2 & 3. So I removed the top hook and used the included link. With this method, I only had one pin to connect after hooking the lower pins with the hitch. Well worth the money if you switch implements much. Good luck! ....

I haven't heard of a quick hitch that is totally universal (will fit all brands of implements). If you are going to spend $$ on making it easier to hookup why not get the extend able links that JD offers. It would make attaching implements much easier and will fit any Cat I implement.

I never heard of the the JD solution, but will call to find out what you are describing. Thanks for the tip. I'll check it out before I buy.

I have extendable arms on my tractor and agree they are better than standard arms ,but the quick hitch is still much easier and faster. Once you have your implements set to use with the quick hitch. I would not be without it now. ....

I spent probably $200 at a welding shop modifying my implements to be I-Match compatible, and for me it was money well spent. It takes only a minute or so to swap implements (well, those that take a pto shaft take a minute longer). ....
